Position

For an important project involving the evolution and management of cloud infrastructures, we are looking for a SysOps Engineer AWS with experience in administering complex infrastructural environments and managing services on Amazon Web Services.

The selected candidate will join a team specialized in IT infrastructure management and will be involved in the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of cloud environments, ensuring the reliability, security, and operational continuity of services.

Your responsibilities will include managing AWS resources, administering Linux and/or Windows Server systems, second-level infrastructural and application troubleshooting, as well as analyzing and resolving issues related to connectivity, security, and infrastructure performance.

The role will involve configuring network components, managing security policies, monitoring systems and application logs, and optimizing the infrastructure through automation tools and Infrastructure as Code.

The work modality is predominantly remote, with availability to reach the client's site in Naples 1-2 times a week, if required, and occasional business trips to the Campobasso office.

Requirements

Technical Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in the role of SysOps Engineer, System Administrator, Cloud Engineer, or similar positions
• Experience in managing AWS infrastructures
• Knowledge of key AWS services, including: EC2 VPC IAM CloudWatch S3
• Solid system administration skills on Linux and/or Windows Server
• Excellent knowledge of TCP/IP networks
• Knowledge of subnetting, DNS, routing, and VPNs
• Experience in troubleshooting infrastructural and network issues
• Experience in configuring and managing firewalls and iptables
• Knowledge of key infrastructural security best practices
• Experience in second-level application support
• Experience in managing and configuring web servers such as Apache, Nginx, and Tomcat
• Knowledge of infrastructural monitoring tools and log management
• Experience with Docker is a plus
• Knowledge of Terraform is a plus
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools is a plus

What we offer

Gross annual salary ranging from 40,000 to 48,000 euros, defined based on the profile, skills, and experience gained.
