Tasks:

• Development of the device software architecture for future, broadband communication systems in modern aircraft - Design of a software architecture for communication systems of different aircraft classes considering modularity, performance, and hardware-, firmware-, and software-partitioning - Definition of software architectures and interfaces according to operational requirements in close coordination with hardware architecture and system engineering

Qualifications:

• In-depth knowledge of software system architectures for radio communication as well as familiarity with modern aircraft systems - MUST-HAVE: fundamental knowledge of the programming language C (not C++) - Knowledge in hardware-near software development, driver development, and boot processes - Familiarity with real-time systems - Confident appearance and outstanding communication skills - Fluent German and English skills in writing and speaking
