Software Developer for Production and Traceability

Job description

TEXA S.p.A. is selecting a Software Developer for Production and Traceability to join the industrialization team at its Headquarters located in Monastier di Treviso (TV).

The resource will become part of the Product and Process Industrialization department, collaborating daily with the MES, Production, Quality, and Process Engineering teams. Their objective will be to develop software solutions that support, guide, and trace production activities, integrating with the company's MES system and the production equipment present in the factory. Main responsibilities:
  • Design and develop software applications with dedicated graphical interfaces for production and industrialization activities.
  • Create digital tools to guide operators in manual assembly, testing, and processing phases, ensuring the correct execution of procedures according to principles of operational robustness and poka-yoke.
  • Implement traceability systems capable of acquiring, validating, and recording process information required by the company's MES.
  • Develop applications integrated with the MES for reading and writing production data, ensuring complete synchronization of information related to product, process, and processing outcomes.
  • Create software services for integration with production machines and automatic systems.
  • Acquire and monitor data from production plants, such as process parameters, cycle times, machine states, and processing outcomes.
  • Collaborate with production departments to identify opportunities for improvement, automation, and digitalization of processes.
  • Support the analysis of production data aimed at the continuous improvement of industrial processes.

Technical Skills:
  • Excellent knowledge of the C# language and the .NET ecosystem.
  • Experience in developing applications with graphical interfaces (WPF, WinForms, or equivalent technologies).
  • Knowledge of software design principles, application architectures, and development of robust and maintainable applications.
  • Ability to analyze operational processes and translate them into effective software solutions.
  • Knowledge of data management basics and interaction with relational databases.

Educational Background: Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in similar roles.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in developing software for production or industrial environments.
  • Experience in integration with automatic machines and industrial automation systems.
  • Knowledge of MES architectures and product and process traceability logic.
  • Data analysis skills using Python (Jupyter Notebook, Pandas) and/or advanced Microsoft Excel tools.
  • Experience in creating dashboards, reports, and production performance monitoring tools.

Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to interact with stakeholders from different backgrounds (production, quality, industrialization, and IT).
  • Practical, results-oriented approach.
  • Interest in the manufacturing world and the digitalization of industrial processes.
