Surveyor

Job Description This is a unique opportunity for an experienced Underground Mine Surveyor to play a key role in the development of the new Wharekirauponga Underground Mine. This Mon-Friday position is responsible for providing survey services to ensure daily operational requirements are met, whilst providing support with the wider technical team. Key Tasks and Responsibilities Install and maintain laser alignment systems for development. Issue mining instructions for the jumbo operators. Complete and accurate surveys of underground workings. Provide survey data to the mine planning department. Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations. Coordinate with other departments to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Key Requirements Strong understanding of underground mine operations and surveying principles. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Certifications: Mine Surveyor's Certificate. Tools and Equipment: Laser alignment systems, GPS equipment, Total Stations, Handheld computers.
