Surveyor II

Description The Surveyor II is an intermediate-level position for an individual under the supervision and guidance of experienced field surveyors. The Surveyor II’s primary function is to examine and report on vessels and other marine structures during and after construction relative to compliance with the applicable requirements for maintaining the vessel in Classification with ABS and meeting associated statutory and special service requirements related to Safety of Life at Sea, Loadline, Tonnage Measurement, and other relevant regulations. The Surveyor II will be responsible for ensuring that all vessels and marine structures are properly maintained and comply with the relevant regulations, and will work closely with the ABS Surveyor to ensure that all necessary surveys are conducted and reports are submitted in a timely manner. The Surveyor II will also be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed records of all surveys and inspections, and for providing technical support and guidance to other surveyors and personnel as needed.
