Surveyor

An established civil construction contractor is seeking an experienced Field Based Surveyor to support the planning, organisation, and delivery of contract works across a diverse range of projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality set out, accurate as-built records, and effective coordination between engineers, and clients. Reporting to the Contracts Managers, the Surveyor will be responsible for: Completing set out, surveying, and as-built tasks using appropriate instruments; Conducting site surveys and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards; Collaborating with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective survey strategies; Maintaining accurate records of all survey work, including as-built drawings and reports; Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team on survey-related matters; Assisting in the development and implementation of quality control procedures for surveying activities. This role requires a strong understanding of surveying principles, techniques, and best practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
