Supported by the experts from our existing industrial team, the selected candidate will be called upon to offer personalized services in a multidisciplinary project context for one of our major clients in the Baie-Comeau region.

The site supervisor or site supervisory responsible for construction and work sought after will have knowledge in civil, structural, electrical, or mechanical disciplines, and ease in resolving diverse problems. This position allows for exponential learning in the industrial sector in collaboration with colleagues from multiple disciplines. This challenge includes an important Health-Safety-Environment (HSE) aspect and you would be the reference person for HSE regarding construction practices and CIMA+ standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Taking charge of coordination functions for a wide variety of projects involving diverse stakeholders in an industrial environment
  • Conducting site surveillance
  • Assisting interveners during commissioning
  • E nsuring that health and safety at work (HSA) rules and standards are applied according to client and CIMA+ requirements
  • E nsuring that environmental rules and standards are applied according to client and CIMA+ requirements
  • F ollowing up on construction progress, raising delays/ issues, and informing the project manager
  • Coordinating activities with nearby construction work at the site
  • E nsuring compliance of works with engineering documents (plans and estimates) and providing technical support
