Construction Site Supervisor

Job description

TEHORA is currently looking for a construction site supervisor having excellent technical skills, excellent knowledge and who wants to leverage their expertise within a versatile team.

Without being exhaustive, here are the services and deliverables that the selected person will have to provide.

Description of works or goods delivered :

  • Carry out related surveillance for roadwork, development and underground infrastructure (aqueduct, domestic and storm sewer, etc.);
  • Ensure that the work respects plans and estimates;
  • Ensure compliance with current environmental standards;
  • Validate various payment vouchers;
  • Coordinate and approve works done by the laboratory;
  • Complete daily reports;
  • Fulfill deficiency reports;
  • Perform measurements and progressive counts.
  • Monitor modifications and approve changes jointly with the project manager;
  • Possibility of performing office work (estimation, design review...) during construction downtime.

Requirements

  • Hold a DES, DEC in civil engineering or any other relevant discipline;
  • Have between 5 to 10 years or more of relevant experience;
  • Training in construction site supervision (infrastructure/civil);
  • Knowledge of city of Montreal's tender documents and procedures;
  • Knowledge of MTQ standards as well as BNQ;
  • Hold the ASP Construction Card;
  • Good mastery of French, both spoken and written;
  • Possess a valid driver's license and vehicle;
  • Prefers working outdoors (summer or winter);
  • Ability to work long hours on site.

SALARY

The salary will be calculated based on the average hourly rate corresponding to your profile.

WORK LOCATION

The work location will be determined according to the mandate, it may be in telwork or at the client's office.
