The superintendent manages the construction project realization. He collaborates and negotiates with various partners: subcontractors, project managers, estimators, professionals (architects and engineers), and clients.

The position is for an institutional project on the North Shore of Montreal.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction work execution;
  
• Apply plans and estimates and ensure compliance with deadlines;
  
• Monitor subcontractor performance;
  
• Coordinate project advancement with the project team: subcontractors, foremen, project managers, and director of projects.
  
• Ensure quality work execution;
  
• Apply health and safety policies at work;
  
• Participate in site meetings;
  
• Complete daily reports on work and quantities.
  

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture, construction diploma, or equivalent combination of experience and training;
  
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience;
  
• Possess good knowledge: equipment, execution standards, work methods;
  
• Familiarity with MS Project and Microsoft Office Suite;
  
• Bilingual French and English (asset).
