Position: Support Worker in Sydney & Wollongong
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to clients in their daily activities
- Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises
- Help with household tasks and meal preparation
- Offer companionship and emotional support
- Monitor and report on clients' health and well-being
- Speak fluent English - Essential
- Experience in Mental Health & Complex Behaviour - Highly regarded
- Experience with working with immobile participants - Highly regarded
- Experienced in Medication Administration
- Competent in reading / following care plans, writing and documenting accurate detailed shift notes & incident reports.
- Valid Australian Driver's License & own reliable transport
- Experience with Manual Handling
- Reliable, well-presented with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Support Work
- NDIS clearance
- First Aid & CPR certification
- Police Check
- Working With Children Check (WWCC)
- Excellent English verbal communication skills
- NDIS orientation modules
- Infection Control cert
- Must have full working rights to work in Australia
- 3 mininum contactable references
