Care on Call is passionate about supporting people in the community and we take pride in the personalised service we deliver to clients and the staff we work with. We have a client who has experienced a stroke that is based in Porirua who requires support with daily life. We are looking for a well-spoken, positive, and empathetic support worker who understands the complexities of challenging behaviours and can offer patient, respectful support—especially on days when the client is feeling unwelcome or frustrated. The ideal candidate will have experience working with clients who have experienced a stroke and have a strong understanding of the importance of maintaining their dignity and autonomy.
