We are currently looking for a motivated and caring Support Worker to join our team. Role Overview: As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with learning disabilities to develop their skills and abilities, promoting their autonomy and independence. This may involve assisting with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores, as well as providing emotional support and companionship. You will also work closely with our team of professionals, including therapists, nurses, and other Support Workers, to develop personalized plans that meet the unique needs of each individual we support. Key Responsibilities: • Provide person-centered support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their autonomy and independence. • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores. • Offer emotional support and companionship to individuals we support. • Work closely with our team of professionals to develop personalized plans that meet the unique needs of each individual we support. • Participate in regular supervision and training sessions to ensure you are equipped to provide high-quality support. • Maintain accurate records of your work, including incident reports and progress notes. Requirements: • A passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities and a commitment to providing person-centered support. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Flexibility and adaptability in response to changing circumstances. • Valid driving license (if applicable).
