Support Worker for in home support - Invercargill

Our team are seeking an experience and Level 4 NZQA health and wellbeing trained Support Worker to join the team supporting key kiritaki living with disabilities and other health needs in Invercargill. As a Support Worker (care staff) your key responsibilities include:

• Supporting kiritaki to achieve their identified goals
• Follow planned care within the individual support plan
• Support personal cares for the person ; assisting with bathing, grooming, meals, mobilisation.
• Assist with home management; cleaning and organising spaces for the client that makes their lives safer, easier.

Minimum requirements of applicants:

• Level 4 Health and Wellbeing qualified care staff
• Able to travel safely and independently between locations and clients across the Invercargill region (NZ driver licence and access to a car)
• Ability to work rotating rostered shifts including days, afternoons, nights, wake over/sleep over shifts and including weekends.
• 6-12 months experience working specifically in a home-based care role, as we need workers familiar with, and capable of, working independently in this type of care environment.
• Able to work a minimum of 60 hours a fortnight (up to 90 hours maximum a fortnight).
