Support Operations Engineer (all genders)

We are a leading SaaS provider in our field and operate numerous customer environments in our cloud. To ensure the smooth operation of these environments, we are looking for a Support and Operations Engineer, who will support us particularly in managing, monitoring, and optimizing our SaaS environments on staging and production clusters.

Aufgaben

• You are responsible for the management, monitoring, and optimization of our SaaS environments on staging and production clusters.
• You prioritize, analyze, and resolve issues that arise in customer environments within the defined reaction and solution times as part of incident management.
• You work closely with our product development and infrastructure team to ensure a smooth operation and continuously improve IT operations processes (e.g., monitoring, backup, and recovery).
• You support customers with further questions about operating and configuring our software.
• You coordinate changes and actively participate in improving the support function and optimizing user experience.
• You take on on-call shifts to ensure the best possible customer support.
• You are responsible for documenting systems and configurations.

Qualifikation

• You have a completed degree or vocational training in the field of computer science, information technology, or equivalent.
• You ideally have basic IT knowledge in the areas of Linux, network, and integration of REST API interfaces.
• You are familiar with Kubernetes environments and can navigate them.
• Experience working with YAML files is desirable.
• You are not afraid to learn new technologies.
• You are able to quickly adapt to new situations and find pragmatic solutions. You easily convey complex relationships to customers in a precise and understandable manner.
• You maintain a positive and empathetic attitude when dealing with customers.
• You have fluent German and very good English skills.
