Supply Teacher
Location - Southampton
Contract – Part Time and Full Time available
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and adaptable Primary Supply Teachers to work across a range of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Southampton and the surrounding areas. This role is ideal for teachers who value flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to make a positive impact across KS1 and KS2.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching in KS1 and/or KS2
- A positive, calm, and flexible approach to supply teaching
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Confidence delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
- A professional and dependable attitude, with a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning
The Role Includes:
- Delivering high-quality teaching across day-to-day, short-term, and long-term supply placements
- Teaching pre-planned lessons and adapting delivery to meet pupils’ needs
- Creating a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
- Supporting pupils’ academic progress, confidence, and wellbeing
- Working collaboratively with school staff and adhering to safeguarding and school policies
