Supply Teachers Start Date: January 2026 Pay: £13.75 per hour (in line with experience and assignment requirements) Are you a passionate and reliable qualified Teacher looking for flexible work opportunities from January 2026? We are currently recruiting Supply Teachers to support the ongoing needs of our partner primary schools across Preston and the surrounding areas . We offer regular day-to-day supply , short-term cover , and longer-term teaching placements in a variety of school settings. The Role: As a Supply Teacher , you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons , managing classroom behaviour , and ensuring a positive learning environment . You will be working with children across the primary age range , from Reception to Year 6. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver pre-planned lessons effectively and engagingly . * Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies . * Create a positive and inclusive learning environment . * Assess and monitor student progress . * Communicate with school staff and parents as required . * Adhere to school policies and procedures . What We Are Looking For: * Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) or equivalent . * Experience teaching in a primary school setting . * Strong classroom management skills . * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills . * Ability to adapt to different school environments . * A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success .
