Supply Planner

We are looking for a motivated planner to strengthen our team. In this role, you are responsible for

• planning production, distribution, and raw materials;
• ensuring a smooth and efficient supply chain by balancing demand and supply;
• optimizing inventory levels by working together with various internal and external stakeholders
• You work closely together to manage goods flows and quickly respond to changes.

Within the Planning Department, you report to the Planning Manager.

In collaboration with the Assistant Planning Manager and the entire planning team, you are responsible for 2 Business Units: Kuhlmann Europe and Tessenderlo Kerley International.

You are responsible for performing general planner activities:

• You function as a central hub for production, sales, customer service, warehouses, suppliers, and service providers to align priorities.
• You can quickly respond to unexpected changes and disruptions to minimize the impact
• You register necessary information in various systems (Excel / SAP / …)
• You approve sale orders for product availability
• You order raw materials from suppliers, organize the replenishment of global warehouses, and handle administrative tasks around this
• You control invoices regarding transport, warehouse, and raw materials and approve or reject these for payment
• You manage daily problems and routine activities
• You follow daily inventory levels, losses, performance level of product warehouses, etc. in the context of warehouse management
• You support the preparation of the monthly S&OP by collecting and processing data regarding demand planning, inventory, production capacities, and raw material replenishment.
• You translate the S&OP into production-, sales-, raw materials- and distribution-planning at a detailed level and communicate this to the organization
• You identify and implement actions to improve overall processes
• You prepare the monthly closing and sends the information to the relevant external partners
