Supply Chain Specialist (gn) Solar Tracker

To support our further growth, we are creating the position of Supply Chain Specialist (gn) in our Supply Chain & Logistics Department – a central role that works closely with internal teams and international partners and makes a decisive contribution to our future success.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A completed commercial or technical vocational training (e.g. industrial clerk, freight forwarder, wholesale and foreign trade clerk); a bachelor's degree is optional but not necessarily required
  • At least two years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics coordination, or international transport, ideally in an international industrial or project environment
  • Experience in dealing with global supply chains, including international shipping, customs procedures, and Incoterms
  • Good knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP), procurement processes, and supplier communication – especially in dealing with mechanical or technical components
  • Hands-on experience in processing international shipments and creating export and shipping documents for global projects
  • Safe handling of ERP systems and very good Excel skills; experience with TMS or reporting tools is advantageous
  • Structured, reliable, and proactive working style, as well as excellent communication and team skills
  • High integrity in dealing with compliance and export control requirements

  • Planning of material requirements and disposition to ensure timely supply of international solar tracker projects and customer deliveries
  • Implementation of project-specific procurement processes under internal guidelines and existing supplier agreements
  • Organization of international transports for tracker system components, as well as selection, commissioning, and control of suitable logistics service providers and forwarders
  • Monitoring of global transports and early recognition and proactive handling of delays, risks, and deviations
  • Preparation and maintenance of transport, shipping, and export documents under consideration of applicable trade regulations and Incoterms
  • Coordination of interfaces to suppliers and internal departments project management, procurement, and quality to ensure smooth material and information flows
  • Support of inventory and demand planning to ensure material availability for global installations at all times
  • Preparation of key figures, performance data, and process reports to support informed decisions and continuous improvements
