Supply Chain Planner

Job Description Position Title: Supply Chain Planner Function: Supply Chain / Planning Reporting To: Head Supply Chain Planning Location: Shrirampur Role Purpose The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for end-to-end monthly and day-wise production planning for all dairy products to ensure optimal capacity utilization, timely product availability, and strong alignment across demand, production, procurement, and logistics. The role drives effective execution of the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and ensures that production plans are aligned with customer requirements, market trends, and business objectives. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the dairy products portfolio, including product specifications, packaging, and labeling. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes as needed. • Analyze sales data, production schedules, and inventory levels to optimize supply chain operations and minimize waste. • Develop and manage relationships with suppliers, logistics providers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods. • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fill rates, inventory turnover, and lead times to drive continuous improvement. • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management to inform strategic decisions related to supply chain operations. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve supply chain planning capabilities.
