Supply Chain Planner | DSL-01

Contribute to one of the first large-scale SAF plants in Europe. You will contribute to the construction of DSL-01 in Delfzijl: a plant focused on the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel and by-products.

You will become part of an experienced team where your expertise will directly contribute to the safe and successful realization of the project.

About the position

As Supply Chain Planner, you will have the opportunity to help build the supply chain organization for DSL-01 from the ground up. Your work will help lay the foundation for the reliable operation of one of Europe's first large-scale production facilities for Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

Before the plant starts:

• Help build the supply chain organization for DSL-01, including the processes, systems, and methods required for operational readiness.

• Contribute to the setup of ERP systems, supply chain processes, and the preparation for a safe, reliable, and efficient operation.

After the plant starts:

• Play an important role in the daily supply chain operation, from raw material and production planning to coordination with suppliers and customers.

• Ensure a stable supply chain that supports safe and continuous production, working with internal and external stakeholders.

Your tasks will include:

• Developing and maintaining production, supply, and offtake plans for the short, medium, and long term.

• Translating production needs into material requirements and coordinating availability with suppliers, Procurement, and sourcing teams.

• Coordinating planning between Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Procurement, and commercial stakeholders.

• Identifying risks, disruptions, and capacity limitations and developing appropriate scenarios and solutions.

• Providing analyses and insights to support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.

• Actively contributing to the setup, validation, and optimization of ERP systems and supply chain processes.

• Supporting processes related to traceability, certification, and mass balancing.

• Initiating and leading improvements in planning, systems, and methods.

• Serving as a subject matter expert for complex planning issues during operational readiness and the plant startup.

Your profile

You are strong analytically, take ownership, and are comfortable in an environment where not everything is yet established. You are capable of bringing different interests together and dare to make decisions when information is limited or incomplete.

What do you bring?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree level of work and thinking.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Supply Planner, Production Planner, Material Planner, or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.

• A strong understanding of supply chain processes and ERP systems.

• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actions and decision-making.

• A proactive, results-oriented attitude and a strong sense of ownership.

• Experience with stakeholder management in a complex operational environment.

• The ability to prioritize and make decisions under uncertainty.

• Good command of Dutch and English.

Additional skills/experience

• Experience in the process and manufacturing industry.

• Experience with ERP implementations, system setup, or user acceptance testing.

• Experience with the startup of new production sites or operational organizations.

• Knowledge of traceability, certification, mass balancing, dangerous goods, or waste management.

About DSL-01

In Delfzijl, we are building DSL-01, a SkyNRG plant for renewable fuels. Here, we produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) from residual streams such as used fats and oils, using HEFA technology. Additionally, we produce by-products such as butane, propane, and naphtha.

DSL-01 will be the first plant in Europe fully dedicated to SAF and associated sustainable by-products. Once operational, the plant will produce 100,000 tons of SAF and 35,000 tons of by-products annually. This will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 80% compared to fossil kerosene, measured across the entire chain.

Construction started in 2026, and the first production is planned for 2028. The project includes the plant itself, associated pipelines, and temporary work areas. You will directly contribute to the realization of a new industrial plant and the decarbonization of aviation.
