Supply Chain Planner

Job description

The person in this role is responsible for planning, monitoring and optimizing the flow of raw materials throughout the supply chain, ensuring that materials are available on time for production. This position contributes to operational efficiency, inventory and production plan fulfillment, and cost control within the organization. The supply planner provides data-based information to support decision-making in procurement and logistics, contributing to improving material availability and service efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze raw material levels, consumption, and reordering needs.
  • Prepare and maintain reports and dashboards for inventory tracking, delivery fulfillment, and KPIs related to raw materials.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (production, procurement, logistics, and customer service) to ensure supply and production plans are aligned.
  • Support in managing orders with suppliers and tracking deliveries to guarantee material availability.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in supply chain processes, inventory optimization, and risk reduction for stockouts or overstocking.
  • Perform root cause analysis for delays in material delivery or variations in inventories and propose corrective actions.
  • Support in planning budgets and forecasting raw materials and related expenses.

Skills

  • Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data related to inventory and supply chain.
  • Basic knowledge of logistics software tools and ERP systems.
  • Able to identify operational problems and propose solutions at the tracking level.
  • Organization and attention to detail to maintain precise records and comply with internal procedures.
  • General knowledge of customs regulations and commercial compliance.

  • Good communication skills and teamwork ability to collaborate with different internal areas and suppliers.
