Supply Chain Manager

We are recruiting a Supply Chain Manager on behalf of our client, a dynamic manufacturing company operating in an international group environment.

You will play a strategic role in SIOP, supplier development, cost control, and team capability building, acting as the Supply Chain representative within Factory Management and Global Supply Chain governance.

Key Responsibilities

Delivery & Planning:

• Ensure Delivery On Time performance;
• Lead Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP);
• Optimize customer lead times and inventory levels (DIO);
• Manage key suppliers according to Technical Purchase Specifications;
• Oversee Order Handling and forecast processes.

Quality:

• Drive Zero Defect culture within Supply Chain and supplier base;
• Lead supplier development and improvement plans;
• Ensure compliance with group purchasing standards;
• Manage structured problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Cost & Performance:

• Reduce COGS and optimize working capital;
• Maintain full visibility on WIP and inventory;
• Lead cost optimization initiatives;
• Manage workforce flexibility and resource planning.

People Leadership:

• Build and develop a high-performing Supply Chain team;
• Drive empowerment, coaching, and succession planning;
• Promote a continuous improvement mindset (Kaizen, 5S, Problem Solving);
• Ensure compliance with job descriptions, certifications, and development plans.

Safety (EHS):

• Promote a zero-injury culture;
• Ensure compliance with site and group EHS standards.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years of Supply Chain Management experience;
• 3–5 years of purchasing experience (strategic, tactical & operational);
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and service providers;
• Education in Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or Supply Chain;
• Solid leadership and people development experience;
• Experience in metal or automotive industry is a strong advantage;
• Advanced English (written & spoken);
• Strong commercial understanding and cost awareness;
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably AX).
