Job Title: Supply Chain and Purchasing Officer Location: Gauteng Hire Resolves Client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Supply Chain and Purchasing Officer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating the procurement and inventory management processes to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of their supply chain. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost savings and efficiency. Source, evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage and maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, and inventory levels. Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Identify and mitigate risks associated with supply chain disruptions. Develop and implement processes to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce costs. Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to procurement and inventory management. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner. Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements and implement changes as necessary.
