Supply and Distribution Manager – Full-Time VD Distribution Pty Ltd Location: 19 Penny Pl, Arndell Park NSW 2148 VD Distribution Pty Ltd is a leading distributor of premium Asian ethnic food products, including perishable items and authentic Indian sweets, supplying major supermarkets and speciality stores across New South Wales, Canberra, Victoria and Queensland. With rapid expansion and increasing demand for our authentic products, we are looking for an experienced Supply and Distribution Manager who will be responsible for managing the supply chain from procurement to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient distribution of our products to customers. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics, inventory management, and customer service, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Key responsibilities include: • Managing the supply chain from procurement to delivery, including negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory levels, and coordinating deliveries. • Developing and implementing strategies for efficient distribution, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products to customers. • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders. • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as necessary. • Maintaining accurate records and reports, including inventory management and supply chain performance metrics. • Collaborating with the operations team to ensure seamless integration of logistics and distribution activities. • Providing exceptional customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise. • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management and logistics. The ideal candidate will have: • A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the food distribution industry. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
