Supplier Quality Engineer

Main Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, addressing issues professionally and constructively
• Support the development and continuous improvement of existing suppliers
• Participate in the approval process for new suppliers
• Manage and resolve supplier complaints
• Monitor supplier performance and drive improvement actions
• Plan and conduct supplier audits

Additional Responsibilities:

• Prepare and track quality complaints related to suppliers
• Lead investigations and request corrective actions (e.g., 8D reports)
• Follow up on corrective actions and verify their effectiveness
• Identify and implement improvement projects for supplier performance
• Participate in the certification of new processes, products, or process changes
• Approve PPAP documentation
• Conduct periodic supplier evaluations and report performance metrics
