Supplier Network Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks

• Opening up new procurement regions outside of China (nearshoring, friendshoring, building a US manufacturing network)
• Active sourcing of high-performing manufacturing companies for complex drawing parts
• Remote assessment of new partners (technology, machinery, certifications, tolerances)
• Negotiation of framework agreements and building long-term supplier relationships
• KPI monitoring of the partner network, including escalation and offboarding
• Preparation of partner data for the internal machine learning matching system

Your profile

• Technical understanding: ability to read technical drawings, evaluate manufacturing processes (CNC, casting, forging)
• Experience in developing foreign markets (customs, logistics, local specifics)
• Negotiation skills in German and English, proficiency in complex supply contracts (NDA, QSV)
• Analytical thinking (Total Cost of Ownership instead of just part price consideration)
• High IT/data affinity (dashboards, structured supplier data for ML matching)
• Ideally, industrial engineer or technical buyer
• Bonus: international network in the purchasing landscape, leadership potential
