Supplier Metallurgical Control Specialist
Job description
The Pratt & Whitney Quality & Process Engineering (QPE) organization is seeking an energetic, self-starter to provide quality engineering support for the Global Supply Chain value stream as a Supplier Metallurgical Control Specialist (SMCS). The QPE group is responsible for the management, implementation and subsequent surveillance of several quality management systems within the global supply base including Laboratory Control at Source (LCS), Engineering Source Approval (ESA), special processes and procedures. This role will be focused on metallurgical control and will require a strong understanding of metallurgy principles, materials science, and process controls. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role or have a background in metallurgy, materials science, or a related field.
