Job Description:
- Supervise maintenance team activities, including preventive and corrective maintenance of approximately 600 equipment units, covering Process areas (coffee, roasting, and grinding) and 6 packaging technologies (vacuum, cushion, pouch, doy bag, grains, L’or, and Senseo).
- Lead maintenance activities to ensure the safety of people working and interacting directly with machines, executing preventive maintenance on equipment and its safety systems.
- Manage labor resources, evaluating the number of technicians by specialty and shift, ensuring coverage in cases of vacations, medical leaves, and other absences, as well as covering breaks, etc.
- Manage time, ensuring the development of technicians based on skill matrices and identified gaps, prioritized based on loss intelligence.
- Develop, implement, and execute, along with the maintenance manager, the Individual Development Plan (IDP) for your team, ensuring the development of associates and area maintenance results.
- Adjust and control attendance marking;
- Control performance based on results (PLR), defining goals, tracking results, and disseminating to the team monthly.
- Prioritize technical labor for your shift, based on production plan priorities and area PCP priorities.
- Ensure communication during technician shift changes, formalizing information from your shift in controls (service orders and daily log) and passing it to the next shift, promoting solution discussion.
- Ensure technician participation in GA meetings for your lines, executing mentorship routines and addressing needs to responsible parties.
- Ensure the execution of your shift's maintenance program, with correct prioritization of activities, based on the criticality of each service order.
- Lead maintenance projects and improvements, aiming to increase component lifespan, reduce spare parts and maintenance costs, increase machine efficiency, and reduce labor costs.
- Prospect with the supply team, suppliers, and opportunities for improvements and cost reductions in maintenance, energy, or productivity;
- Actively participate in the Planned Maintenance pillar, leading tools for your responsibility and developing multipliers in the maintenance team.
- Responsible for technical decisions on diagnoses and repairs of equipment, always evaluating maintenance costs, repair time, and machine downtime.
- Analyze equipment failures and breakdowns under your shift's responsibility, ensuring a thorough cause analysis and proposing robust actions to prevent future losses.
- Participate in governance and routine maintenance meetings;
- Ensure the execution of preventive maintenance plans according to technical programming;
- Validate and technically approve specifications prepared by the technician team for spare parts and service purchases.
- Perform technical validation of new equipment and innovation projects.
