WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU: Laboratory Supervisor (concrete)

You will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the technical management of the business unit by optimizing the use of available resources, performing physical tests on fresh and hardened concrete, aggregates, and mixes; determining the physical characteristics of the product, and recording the results in the established system (SAP) to generate the required information for the purpose of evaluating product quality and seeking its optimization.

Your main challenges will be:

• Maintain product quality standards and cost optimization through mix design, statistical analysis of quality parameters, technical training (internal and external) to achieve customer satisfaction.
• Conduct statistical analyses of product quality to optimize the use of raw materials for the business unit.
• Update, manage, and control dosage recipes in SAP, as well as participate in and follow up on the laboratory equipment calibration/verification program.
• Address and resolve customer technical claims (strength, slump, volume, setting, and cracking), providing technical advice, support, and solutions to special technical problems when required.

Indispensable Requirements

• Completed professional degree in Civil Engineering and/or Architecture
• 3 years of experience in concrete plants or quality laboratories
• Experience in mixes, use of admixtures, recipe management.
• Experience in customer service for product technical claims.
• Knowledge of the Abraham's sheet
• ACI Certification (desirable)
• Driver's license and experience driving manual transmission vehicles
