Supervisor of Signaling Railway Installations in Barcelona

Could you be the Supervisor of Signaling Railway Installations in Barcelona that we are looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your experience in railway signaling to a cutting-edge field. You will work alongside a young and proactive team.
You will prepare the installation work and confirm the preparation for the execution of the installation of: Civil auxiliary work (pipelines, canals, prefabricated), cable laying, connections, deviations, motors, axle counters, ERTMS beacons, track circuits, cab works, electrical feedings, etc. On a daily basis, you will work closely with teams from across the company (test & commissioning, project installation managers), train and support area installation workers and subcontractors on job sites under your responsibility, clarifying doubts and task priorities and more.
You will be responsible for supervising and ensuring the execution of the installation, on track, regardless of whether it is carried out by Alstom employees, subcontractors or clients/partners/third parties, but also meeting the planned productivity and schedule.
We are looking for someone to:
- Apply installation procedures according to design documentation, report on any deviations found or necessary.
- Ensure that safety and health requirements and special processes are clearly included in the work procedure
- Report to the Installation Manager about the progress of field activities and any problem or finding during execution, including non-conformities to communicate to the Quality team
- Ensure and support the delivery process to the Testing and Commissioning / Customer. Complete Inspection Points (IPIs)
- Contribute to defining best practices and Return on Experience within the product line, within the scope of continuous improvement
About you

- CFGS or Technical Superior in Electricity, Industry, Electronics
- 3-5 years of experience in the same position or similar position
- Prior experience in the railway sector (signaling, telecommunications, and/or electrification)
- High level of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc...)
- High level of Spanish.
- Driving license
- Availability to travel throughout the Spanish state
- Availability to work at night
- Knowledge of safety and health.
