Job description
Job Summary The Supervisor Rehabilitation Therapy is a working team member who is also responsible for providing leadership and oversight to a team of rehabilitation staff, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech language pathologists, certified occupational therapy assistants, physical therapist assistants, rehab aides and other rehab team members. The primary focus of this role is to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services that meet the standards of excellence in rehabilitation. This includes but is not limited to: • Providing leadership and oversight to a team of rehabilitation staff. • Developing, implementing, and evaluating programs and services for patients with various diagnoses and needs. • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. • Participating in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services. • Providing education and training to rehabilitation staff on best practices, new technologies, and evidence-based treatments. • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and reports. • Participating in departmental meetings and committees as assigned. Requirements: • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field from an accredited institution. • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of [State]. • Minimum 3 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist, with at least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role. • Strong leadership and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technology systems.
