Position: Supervisor, Maintenance Location: Hearst, ON GreenFirst is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to provide planning and direction to the Site Services team, ensuring the maintenance of our facilities and equipment is carried out in a safe and efficient manner. This includes coordinating with other departments, such as Operations and Engineering, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of maintenance principles and practices, as well as experience in a supervisory role. Key responsibilities will include: • Providing guidance and direction to the Site Services team, ensuring that maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner. • Coordinating with other departments to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives. • Developing and implementing maintenance plans and schedules to ensure that equipment and facilities are properly maintained. • Conducting regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations. • Identifying and addressing potential maintenance issues before they become major problems. • Collaborating with other departments to identify and implement process improvements. • Ensuring that all maintenance activities are properly documented and recorded. • Providing training and coaching to the Site Services team to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively. • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment maintenance and repair records. • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to improve maintenance processes and procedures. • Ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures. • Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following all safety protocols and procedures. • Participating in on-call rotation as required. • Performing other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
