Production Supervisor

About the Position:

Maintain operational continuity and safety of the Plant, with maximum process efficiency, by coordinating and supervising its operating conditions to optimize productivity and ensure the timely delivery of products in quantity and quality, complying with the safety and environmental care guidelines established by the company and applicable official legislation.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Control and supervise production process variables and, where applicable, correct deviations to ensure products are delivered in the required quantity and quality.

2. Ensure that the activities of Production operators are carried out in accordance with operating instructions and comply with given orders to maintain safe plant operational continuity.

3. Supervise that personnel maintain their work areas clean and orderly, and that their tools are in good condition.

4. Safely release and hand over equipment to maintenance when it is required for intervention or repair.

5. Coordinate the brigade to attend plant emergency events, as well as for the performance of drills and simulations.

REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION Minimum: Chemical or Industrial Engineer Desired: Chemical or Industrial Engineer

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

- Knowledge of the quality system.

- Knowledge of the caustic soda and chlorine production process.

- Knowledge of Plant shutdown and startup.

- Interpretation of process data.

- Knowledge of product characteristics.

- Proper use of safety equipment.

- Basic knowledge of the Federal Labor Law (LFT).

- Knowledge of SARI and PSM.

- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards.

- Type of experience: Personnel management

- Years of experience: 1 year as a laboratory analyst
