REBAR AND CONCRETE STRUCTURES SUPERVISOR (GIBRALTAR AREA)
INTRODUCTION
We are looking for a 100% technical and on-site Rebar Supervisor to join infrastructure and civil engineering projects in the Gibraltar / Campo de Gibraltar area. We want a pure corrugated steel specialist who knows the trade from the ground up, capable of auditing the execution of reinforcement on-site and ensuring that every kilo of iron is assembled exactly according to plans and regulations before concrete pouring.
Tasks
TASKS
- On-site technical inspection: On-site verification of correct reinforcement, bar diameter, spacers, overlaps, ties, and rebar geometries prior to authorizing pouring.
- Reception and spreadsheet control: Validation of steel arriving at the site against cut lists, stockpile control, and supervision of material performance.
- Subcontractor and crew supervision: Control the quality of work of rebar installers, ensuring compliance with performance targets and technical instructions from site management.
- Coordination of releases: Direct liaison with the Technical Office and Site Management for signing iron assembly protocols and authorizing pours.
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS
- Pure trade and specialization: Demonstrable experience as a Rebar Worker, Foreman, or Supervisor exclusively specialized in steel reinforcement and heavy structures.
- Advanced technical reading: Absolute mastery in interpreting reinforcement drawings, construction details, and workshop cut lists.
- Critical eye and technical rigor: Ability to detect tying errors, incorrect coverages, non-compliant overlaps, or deformations before approving concreting.
- Documentation and OHS: Training in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS 60h) and proficiency in writing daily progress reports and punch lists.
