Accounting Supervisor

We are looking for our Accounting Supervisor, who will be responsible for the development and implementation of accounting and financial processes, ensuring the integrity of the information, guaranteeing the correct application of the company's transactions, consolidation of figures, and final reporting.

Main Functions:

• Application of Mexican accounting principles and IFRS.
• Collaborate with the accounting manager to prepare the accounting closing, generating financial statements efficiently and promptly for local purposes (Mexican GAAPS) and for Corporate purposes (IFRS) monthly and annually.
• Supervise the functions of analysts in general accounting processes within the system for its correct operation, and the physical filing.
• Assist system users by clarifying doubts and providing advice for its correct utilization.
• Ensure the correct application of expense recording.
• Responsible for expense administration, creation of provisions, and their integration.
• Reconciliation of sales and intercompany figures, mark up, from operating divisions and HFM and Movex, and corporate system.
• Support with obtaining and storing SOX evidence.
• Reporting of relevant financial information for the corporate office.
• Supervise the preparation of periodic explanatory schedules (QTR's).
• Reconciliation of the Billing module and DSS & General Ledger system (sales).
• Review of calculation and payment of water, property tax (State and local tax authorities / Bi-monthly).
• Review of calculation of work papers for financial statement audits.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Administration, Finance, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience
• Advanced English (essential)
• Knowledge of Mexican accounting principles, IFRS
