Bar Supervisor

The mission and purpose of this position is to assume full responsibility for assisting the Bar team in meeting standards, policies, and procedures. It has the following responsibilities:

• Supervise, guide, and support bartenders, hosts/hostesses, minibar attendants, take orders, and all other collaborators from the Food and Beverage Division.
• Create a safe environment for our customers and collaborators.
• Assist in the development and implementation of operational procedures and Bar standards..
• Train and develop all collaborators based on current standards and INNOVATE with new procedures, cocktails, and creativity.
• Collaborate in the selection of optimal candidates to have the best collaborators.
• Co-administer the budget in a suitable manner through monitoring of overtime hours, average checks, and related expenses.
• Protect hotel assets.
• Maximize reservations and number of customers at all consumption centers.
• Daily cover control. Maintain ethical standards and preach by example within and outside the hotel.
• Motivate collaborators to achieve departmental and hotel objectives.
• Create a healthy organizational climate, promoting motivation, participation, teamwork, and opportunities for collaborators from the department and hotel.
• Train and develop all collaborators based on continuous feedback and evaluations.
• Show a service attitude towards our customers.
