Supervisor – Production / Machining

Soluflex accompanies Diacarb in the search for a Production Supervisor who will play a key role within its team of experts in high-precision machining.

Your role

As Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, monitoring, and coordinating production activities. You will ensure the optimization of human resources, manufacturing priorities, operational processes, and product quality while supporting your team on a technical level.

This role is essential to maintaining our efficiency, rigor, and reputation for excellence.

Your main responsibilities

The Supervisor will be responsible for:

Planning & Organization

• Plan, distribute, and coordinate work to ensure efficient allocation of human resources.
  

• Manage the entire production operations: planning, priorities, processes, machine hours, optimization, and follow-up sheets.
  

• Ensure everything is ready for the start of shifts: setup, good practices, daily maintenance/5S.
  
  

Operational Management

• Monitor the progress of inspections, piece production, and assembly/maintenance (setup).
  

• Analyze and resolve problems encountered during production or during setup.
  

• Perform a basic diagnosis when equipment breaks down and inform your superior according to established procedure.
  
  

Leadership & Team Development

• Guide, coach, train, and technically support team members.
  

• Participate in evaluating the skills, knowledge, abilities, and collaboration of employees in your team.
  
  

Skills & Profile Sought

Autonomous, proactive, and motivated by complex mandates, our future supervisor enjoys making decisions, optimizing work methods, and actively contributing to the company's evolution.

Your qualifications

• DEP in machining and 7 years of experience, or DEC in mechanical engineering and 5 years of experience as a machinist.
  

• Solid knowledge in machining, mechanics, tooling, systems, inspection, computerization, and machine tools (turning and milling).
  

• Minimum 2 years of experience in supervision of a team of approximately 10 employees.
  

• Able to assemble tooling for milling, prioritize efficiently, and perform troubleshooting.
  

• Demonstrated ability to train, transmit knowledge, and mobilize a team.
