Maintenance Supervisor

Techo-Bloc is looking for a passionate and innovative maintenance supervisor who will oversee our Chambly factory. As a maintenance professional, you will develop preventive and proactive maintenance programs and coach our maintenance team by being a model of rigor and proactivity.

We are seeking a motivated candidate with a strong work ethic and a go-getter attitude who is constantly looking to challenge the status quo and lead multiple projects that will help Techo-Bloc progress and innovate.

Here's an overview of your daily routine:

• Use your in-depth knowledge of mechanical and electrical concepts to support the maintenance program, repairs, and various maintenance projects ;
• Supervise, support, and mentor a team of electromechanical technicians, electrician specialists, and warehouse staff.
• Perform planning and assignment activities for corrective and preventive maintenance work orders to improve availability time ;
• Determine the root cause of problems, the best course of action, and communicate clearly with the maintenance team ;
• Predict material needs so that the maintenance team always has access to spare parts to perform preventive tasks ;
• Lead part or all of projects related to maintenance activities ;
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance on production machines, tools, etc. ;
• Conduct inventory of parts while working with warehouse personnel ;
• Develop plans for ongoing training to ensure the development of team members ;
• Support maintenance technicians by working alongside factory personnel ;
• In case of complex and new problems, intervene and recommend appropriate solutions.
• 70% of your time spent in the factory ;
• This is a permanent full-time position from Monday to Friday. However, when organizational needs require it, the ideal candidate is ready to work on a flexible production schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, etc.
