Join the RAC as a SuperFlex Roadside Mechanic Flexibility deserves recognition – and we deliver. As a Superflex Patrol Roadside Mechanic, you’ll provide the adaptability our service relies on. Competitive salary: £53,720 basic salary (inclusive of London Weighting Allowance if applicable), with the opportunity to earn up to £58,000 Weekly variety: You’ll work the on average 40 hours per week across the year, receiving your roster seven days in advance with your core working hours confirmed three days beforehand. Benefits * 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) * Company pension * Life assurance * Income protection * RAC employee discount * Health cash plan * Cycle to work scheme What you’ll do * Provide roadside assistance to our members, attending breakdowns, assessing and diagnosing faults, and repairing vehicles. * You’ll use your knowledge and expertise to fix vehicles at the roadside, and, when necessary, arrange for recovery of the vehicle. * You’ll deliver the highest level of customer service, ensuring members are kept informed and are safe throughout. * You’ll work as part of a team, and have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge further. What you’ll need * Full UK driving licence * Experience of working on a wide range of vehicles * A strong understanding of vehicle mechanics * Excellent communication and customer service skills * The ability to work independently and as part of a team About the RAC We’re more than just a breakdown service.
