Job description
Purpose
Responsible for executing, supervising, and controlling the commercial plan for Foreign Trade and Factoring products at the Bank level, focused on the Commercial segment, in order to meet the annual budgets for the position and the teams under their charge, ensuring the sustainability, growth, and profitability of both businesses.
Must ensure that commercial strategies, plans, and initiatives are executed in accordance with current internal policies, norms, procedures, and the applicable regulatory framework.
Responsibilities
• Lead and drive a customer-centric culture, strengthening commercial relationships and leveraging the Bank's systems, capabilities, and knowledge.
• Design, execute, and control the commercial plan for Foreign Trade and Factoring products, ensuring growth in customers, placements, income, cash flows, and market share.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies aligned with the Bank's objectives, translating corporate strategy into concrete action plans for the teams, identifying growth opportunities, product improvements, and process optimization.
• Lead the commercial systematic approach, holding regular meetings with counterparts from different segments, reporting results, projections, and initiatives to ensure budget compliance.
• Ensure the development of products from a commercial perspective, promoting innovation, digitalization, and automation of commercial processes.
• Interact with the different commercial banks and internal areas (sales, products, operations, risk, compliance, and support) to ensure effective communication and a comprehensive customer experience.
• Coordinate with operational areas (back office) for the correct and timely processing of operations, as well as adequate post-sales function control.
• Lead, supervise, and develop the teams under their charge: assign individual objectives, evaluate performance, motivate, train, develop skills, and foster a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Actively participate in strategic meetings and support complex negotiations, acting as a technical and commercial reference for Foreign Trade and Factoring products.
• Understand and apply the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture in all daily decisions, ensuring compliance with the Code of Conduct, Global Sales Principles, operational risk management, anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, and conduct risk.
• Promote an inclusive work environment, fostering continuous improvement, professional development, ethics, and excellence in execution.
Requirements
• Degree in Foreign Trade Engineering, Commercial Engineering, or another related field that incorporates business administration and accounting.
• Master's degree in related areas is desirable.
• Proven experience and knowledge in Foreign Trade and Factoring products, leading commercial teams for at least 5 years.
• Technical and regulatory knowledge of Foreign Trade, Factoring, and banking regulation.
• Leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Analytical ability, results orientation, and ability to handle the pressure inherent in commercial management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Intermediate digital skills.
• Behavioral competencies: continuous learning, innovation, execution excellence, collaboration, networking, analytical vision, and customer orientation.
