What you will do

Do you want to work for the Navy after completing your studies? Then we have a great deal for you. With the Defense Study Deal Maritime Service, you study for free and are guaranteed a great starting position afterwards. We reimburse not only the tuition fees for your nautical/maritime Bachelor's degree, but also your books, laptop, study materials, excursions, and any certificates, work clothing, and tools. Nothing changes about your studies – except that you are guaranteed an internship at the Navy. Have you successfully completed your education? Then you can start immediately as a Maritime Officer!

Where you will work

As a Maritime Officer, you are responsible for navigation and safety on a navy ship. You lead the bridge team, but otherwise, your work primarily takes place in the Command Center. This is where all combat information comes in and where decisions are made during operations. The deployment of the navy ship is therefore always your responsibility as a Maritime Officer. Your starting salary depends on your age, educational level, and experience. As your knowledge and experience increase, your salary will also grow with you. With a full-time contract, you are entitled to 23-30 vacation days per year, depending on your age. Do you have days left over? Then you can carry them over to the next year under certain conditions.
