Where you will work

As a technical Sailor or (Non-Commissioned) Officer, you can work for the Army, Air Force, or Navy. You will work at a barracks, on board a naval ship, or at an airbase, and always with the most modern equipment and under the most diverse conditions. Whether you are repairing a Fennek from the Army or an F-35 from the Air Force, or maintaining the radar systems of the Navy; as a technical Officer, it is your task to lead a group of military personnel within one of our units. Think of a technical direction and we have it: from automotive technology, construction & infrastructure technology, and marine technology to aircraft technology, weapons technology, or electrical engineering.

Therefore, as a technical Sailor or (Non-Commissioned) Officer, you can work at various Air Force, Army, and Navy units in the Netherlands. Do you have a preference yourself? Let us know! Your starting salary depends on your age, education level, and experience. As your knowledge and experience increase, so does your salary. In addition to your salary, as a military member, you also receive various structural and incidental allowances. With a full-time employment contract, you are entitled to 23-30 vacation days per year, depending on your age. Do you have days left over? Then you can carry them over to the next year under certain conditions.

You are pursuing a technical MBO, HBO, or WO education. Think of Aircraft Maintenance, Commercial Vehicle Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Technical Physics, Technical Business Administration, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering, or Civil Engineering.
