Instrument Technician

The Instrument Technician is responsible for ensuring the correct functioning, maintenance, and efficiency of electrical instrumentation systems within the scope of natural gas and oil extraction, ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards. Main responsibilities: - Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on complex electrical instrumentation systems, including sensors, actuators, control systems, and electrical panels. - Carry out diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures for field instruments and electrical circuits. - Install, configure, and calibrate new instruments and electrical components on Oil & Gas facilities. - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standard operating procedures during all activities. - Collaborate with the engineering and production team to optimize facility performance. - Prepare detailed technical reports on completed work and facility status. - Ensure operational availability of facilities through 24/7 availability or presence within a defined time frame. Requirements: - Technical Diploma (electrical, electronic, mechatronic) or Bachelor's degree in Engineering (electric, electronic, automation) or related field. - Consolidated experience as an Instrument Technician, preferably in industrial sectors such as Oil & Gas, chemical, energy, or related fields. - In-depth knowledge of electrical circuits and process instrumentation principles. - Ability to use specific measurement tools and equipment. - Availability for daily travel when necessary. - Availability for 24/7 availability or a daily working schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (with one hour break). - Strong orientation towards workplace safety. - Good problem-solving and analytical skills. - Teamwork attitude and autonomy in managing own activities.
