Responsibilities and tasks of Economists: - Receive, verify, and register goods arriving at all areas of the resort (restaurant, housekeeping, maintenance, SPA, etc.). - Manage the warehouse accurately, ensuring optimal inventory rotation and correct storage of products. - Maintain constant relationships with suppliers, requesting quotes, placing orders, and monitoring delivery times. - Check the quality and quantity of supplies, reporting any anomalies or needs for replacement. - Conduct periodic inventories in coordination with administrative direction and operational departments. - Collaborate actively with the kitchen, restaurant, bar, reception, and maintenance, ensuring regular supply to all departments. - Manage documentary practices: DDT, invoices, bills, and warehouse records. - Ensure correct application of company policies regarding safety, hygiene, and respect for internal procedures. Requirements requested for the position of economist: - Previous experience in the role of economist or warehouse manager, preferably in hotels, resorts, tourist villages, or reception structures. - Competence in using software for warehouse management and Office package (particularly Excel). - Ability to organize, precision in accounting, and attention to detail. - Communication skills and ease of relationship with suppliers, colleagues, and department heads. - Reliability, sense of responsibility, and orientation towards efficiency. - Availability to work on shifts, including weekends and holidays, during the summer season. - Basic knowledge of English (preferable), other languages being a plus.
