Aufgaben

Handel & Marktanalyse

• Active trading of energy on relevant markets (Day-Ahead, Intraday)
• Continuous analysis of market developments, price drivers, and fundamental data
• Identification of trading opportunities and market inefficiencies
• Risk management and position monitoring

Strategieentwicklung & Algorithmen

• Development and conception of new algorithmic trading strategies
• Translation of market insights into concrete trading logics and algorithms
• Backtesting and performance analysis of trading strategies
• Ongoing optimization of existing algo-strategies

Technische Zusammenarbeit

• Tight cooperation with our development team to implement strategies
• Definition of technical requirements and specifications for new features
• Testing and validation of newly developed strategies/algorithms in live operation
• Feedback for further development of our in-house trading platform

Qualifikation

Fachliche Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in energy economics, business administration, economics, mathematics, or physics or comparable
• Ideal candidate with several years of experience in energy trading (Day-Ahead/Intraday)
• In-depth understanding of European energy markets and their mechanisms
• Knowledge of quantitative methods and statistical analysis

Technische Fähigkeiten

• Experience with algorithmic trading or strong interest in developing automated trading strategies
• Understanding of programming, data structures, APIs, and trading systems
• Analytical thinking and affinity to data-driven decisions

Persönliche Kompetenzen

• Outstanding analytical and conceptual skills
• Structured, precise work style with high numerical affinity
• Team spirit and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation
