What You Do

• Development and implementation of purchasing and supplier strategy in coordination with purchasing and/or management.
• Selection, evaluation, and development of suppliers into true partners, building long-term, resilient relationships.
• Conducting price, contract, and condition negotiations to optimize purchasing terms.
• Identification and analysis of new procurement markets as well as evaluation of savings potentials in purchasing and manufacturing processes.
• Ensuring cost, quality, and delivery targets.
• Risk management and ensuring supply security during supply bottlenecks.
• Continuous further development and documentation of processes and systems in purchasing.
• Active support of operational purchasing with commercial, qualitative, and logistical problems and participation in day-to-day business.
• Support in collecting environmental key figures, internal reporting, and processing customer inquiries.

What You Bring

• University of Applied Sciences degree in Industrial Engineering or Business Administration and/or comparable educational paths with further training in purchasing.
• Several years of experience in strategic and operational purchasing in a technical environment.
• Demonstrable negotiation successes with strategically relevant suppliers.
• Experience in various manufacturing processes is an advantage.
• Very good communication skills, negotiation skills, and assertiveness.
• Independent, solution-oriented, and responsible personality with strong analytical and entrepreneurial thinking.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
• Willingness to travel to various locations and suppliers.
