Your Mission

With strong growth momentum and global expansion, we are looking for you as an experienced Strategic Security Consultant (m/f/d) - Key Accounts with a focus on our largest Enterprise or Public Sector customers.

You will take on a key role in technical customer support around our vulnerability management. You will act as a technical r point of contact: at eye level - with a deep understanding of IT security, combined with the ability to understand complex customer requirements, moderate them, and feed them into product development.

You will build sustainable technical relationships with security responsible persons in large companies or federal authorities, understand their challenges, and translate them into concrete recommendations for action - both for the customer and internally for our product teams. This includes:

• Technical responsibility for selected strategic customers (Enterprise/Bundesbehörden)
• Counseling and accompaniment of customers in setting up, operating, and further developing their vulnerability management
• Conducting technical deep dives, workshops, and health checks to continuously improve the use of our Greenbone solutions
• Tight coordination with the Product Department to develop our vulnerability management solutions based on customer feedback
• Analyzing complex infrastructures, supporting architecture decisions, and scaling strategies
• Supporting the sales process through technical expertise and thorough feasibility analyses
• BUILDING a sustainable trust relationship as a technical r sparring partner for CISOs, SOC Leads, and IT security responsible persons
• Participation in international conferences, including speaking on technical topics

You bring with you

• Multiple years of experience in technical IT security consulting - ideally with a focus on vulnerability management
• Deep knowledge of current security technologies and common IT architectures (network, infrastructure, cloud)
• Experience working with security-relevant processes in large organizations or authorities
• Able to communicate technical matters clearly and persuasively at different levels - from administrator to executive level
• Knowledge of automation, API usage, and integration of security solutions in complex environments (e.g. via Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Strong customer orientation, excellent social skills, and joy in advisory work
• Fluent German and very good English language skills in writing and speaking (both languages are must-haves)
• Willingness to travel nationally (approx. 20-30%), with international travel possible if needed
