Strategic Relationships Manager - Christchurch or Wellington

Citycare Property is seeking a Strategic Māori Relationships Manager (Pou Arataki Taiao) to strengthen and grow our relationships with iwi, hapū, Māori-owned businesses and Indigenous communities across Aotearoa. This is a senior, nationally focused role that sits within our Strategic Growth team and plays a critical part in honouring Te Tiriti o Waitangi, embedding our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) commitments, and ensuring meaningful Māori outcomes are reflected in how we plan, procure, deliver and evaluate our services. The successful candidate will be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including iwi, hapū, Māori-owned businesses and Indigenous communities across Aotearoa. This role is responsible for developing and implementing strategies that promote the interests of Citycare Property and its stakeholders, while also ensuring that our services are culturally responsive and meet the needs of our customers. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with internal stakeholders, including our DEI team, procurement team, and service delivery teams to ensure that our services are delivered in a way that is respectful, inclusive and meaningful to Māori. This role requires strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and as part of a team to achieve agreed outcomes.
