Strategic Innovation Lead - Built Environment

The Building and Construction Authority (BCA) in Singapore is seeking a resourceful Executive/Senior Manager to lead their Built Environment Technology Alliance (BETA) team. This role involves facilitating research, innovation, and technology adoption efforts in the built environment sector, managing a portfolio of key accounts, and developing strategic relationships across various sectors. The ideal candidate will possess a tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field, demonstrating strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a keen understanding of the built environment industry. Key responsibilities include: • Developing and implementing strategies to drive innovation and technology adoption in the built environment sector; • Facilitating collaboration and knowledge sharing among BETA members, stakeholders, and partners; • Building and maintaining relationships with key accounts and stakeholders across various sectors; • Identifying and prioritizing research and innovation opportunities that align with BCA's strategic objectives; • Collaborating with internal teams to develop and implement initiatives that drive technology adoption and innovation in the built environment sector; • Providing thought leadership and expertise on built environment technologies and innovations; • Developing and managing budgets for specific projects or initiatives; • Identifying and mitigating risks associated with research, innovation, and technology adoption efforts.
