Strategic Industrial Relations Partner

A consulting firm is seeking an Industrial Relations Partner to ensure sound employee relations and legal compliance within a diverse workforce of approximately 1,000 employees. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in Industrial Relations, with strong knowledge of South African labour legislation. Responsibilities include advising on industrial relations matters and guiding management through grievance processes. This role offers real influence and growth opportunities within the company. Key responsibilities: • Providing expert advice to management on industrial relations matters; • Guiding management through grievance processes; • Developing and implementing effective employee engagement strategies; • Maintaining positive labour relations with employees, unions and other stakeholders; • Ensuring compliance with South African labour legislation; • Collaborating with HR and other departments to develop and implement policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A degree in Labour Law or Industrial Relations is required, as well as 3–5 years of experience in Industrial Relations.
